THE POWER OF A SMILE: FROM THE PLAINS OF KENYA TO THE GREAT LAKES OF CANADA
Dr. Inderpreet (Preet) Virdee’s journey starts all the way in Nairobi, Kenya, where she was born and raised – in essence, her first hometown. As a young girl, Dr. Virdee grew a keen passion to help and serve others. She firmly believed that through dedication, focus and education she would have a chance to achieve her personal goals.
At the age of 8, her family made their way to London, Ontario – her new hometown. As the new kid on the playground, she quickly learned the power of a simple smile – it’s the easiest and most universal way to communicate and connect with others. It is from this early experience and her passion to help others that she decided to serve her community as an orthodontist – helping others achieve a smile that they can greet the world with!
